Jacob’s Experience
Jacob grew up in the foster system, aging out with no real support network. He drifted between jobs, struggling to find purpose. When Jacob learned about HelperHand’s Community Development initiative, he decided to give it a try.
Attending a youth engagement program, Jacob found a supportive community that believed in his potential. He joined cultural exchange workshops, volunteered at local shelters, and even led a job training session for others like him. Today, Jacob is a community organizer, giving back to those in need.
“HelperHand didn’t just help me—they inspired me to help others. I finally feel like I have a family,” Jacob said proudly.
