Layla’s Story
Layla, a 10-year-old orphan, was living in uncertainty until she became part of the Bright Futures program. With HelperHand’s support, Layla was given access to healthcare, counseling, and extracurricular activities that helped her heal from her past.
Layla discovered a love for painting during an art therapy session and began to express herself through vibrant colors and brushstrokes. Her artwork was later featured at a local community event, where she confidently shared her story.
“HelperHand didn’t just help me feel safe—they showed me I can be anything I want to be,” Layla said, clutching her paintbrush like a magic wand.
