Jasmine’s Story
When Jasmine lost her job during the pandemic, she and her two children found themselves on the brink of homelessness. Nights in their car turned into weeks of uncertainty and fear. Then, Jasmine discovered HelperHand’s Path to Home program.
Through the program, Jasmine and her kids were given temporary shelter, hot meals, and access to financial literacy workshops. Jasmine worked closely with volunteers to update her resume and apply for jobs. After three months of support, she secured stable employment and qualified for Section 8 housing.
Now, Jasmine reflects on the journey with gratitude:
